Legend singer, Robin Tamang

The widely acknowledged Nepalese singer, musician, actor, and founder of the rock group Robin and The New Revolution, Robin Tamang, passed overnight on Tuesday, July 4.

Tamang passed away on Tuesday night, according to his family, and his body has been transferred to the Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj for a postmortem. His death’s extremely accurate reason is still not known.

Rock band Robin & Looza & Robin and The New Revolution were founded by Robin Tamang, a singer, guitarist, and actor from Nepal. Robin has been a part of the Nepali music industry for the past 20 years and has built up a significant amount of followers over the course of that time. Also. He played roles in many different Nepalese cinema.

A combination of his outstanding vocals and creative skill, Robin Tamang, an acknowledged figure in Nepal as well as internationally, created an essential contribution to the music industry. He was well-known for his wonderful singing, but he also engaged in acting, appearing in a number of critically recognized Nepali films.

Robin’s Childhood:

Tamang, the youngest of Robin’s five siblings, was born to a family that were used in the British Army; Robin was born in Singapore. He was born in 1963 A.D. Tamang spent parts of his youth living in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Brunei as because of his father’s postings to various destinations.

Jimmy Hendrix and Deep Purple, whom he admired during his time attending at school in Singapore, became his primary musical inspirations. Around this time, he started his first band, F Troop, and had a school performance. He started his second band, Tamang, while attending Humber College in Toronto in the middle of the 1980s, and the group played on numerous stages.

Robin Career as a Singer, Actor:

He has been given the chance to move to Nepal in 1996.  He moved to Pokhara, Nepal where his father was originally from, he got the chance to performed with Looza.

He shared the stage with Looza, but this voyage quickly came to an end as the band split up in 2005. With the collaboration of other musicians, he continued to set up the group Robin and the New Revolution, which included:

Dipesh on guitar

 Prabin on bass

 Robin on vocals.

They collaborated on releasing the hugely successful “Keta Keti” record, which sparked him an enormous following.

With his roles in several films, such as the well-known ones “Chhadke,” “Commander,” “Maakha,” “Jai Parshuram,” “Baadshah Jutt,” and “Chiso Estre,” Robin Tamang proved his versatility and amazed the public. He achieved fame as Dev Tantric by his portrayal of Yama Nadu, a villain in Tantric’s Hindi television series The Last Hour Trend on Amazon Prime, which was filmed in Sikkim and Mumbai.
