The Mardi Himal Trek, which takes place in the shadows of Mardi Himal and Machhapuchhre, is one of the undiscovered gems of hiking in the Annapurna Region.
The Mardi Himal Trek is a 5-day excursion from Pokhara, Nepal, that takes us to Mardi Himal, which is situated in the Annapurna Conservation Area beneath the intimidating Mt. Machhapuchhre, also known as the fish tail mountain.
The Mardi Trek is a brief but inspirational hike that leads to one of the less traveled pathways. It is a difficult and stunning 5 day trek that offers breath-taking views of the Himalayan mountain range in the Annapurna region. The Mardi Himal Trek has a total distance of 41 kilometers (25 mi).
In the Annapurna region of Nepal, Mardi Himal is a 5,587-meter (18,330-foot) peak that lies below the much more renowned Machapuchare. It is separated from Machapuchare by a distance of 5,200 meters (17,060 ft). The optimum season for the Mardi Himal Trek is autumn.
The months of September, October, and November are considered autumn. Because of the summer’s rains, the Annapurna region’s surroundings grow clearer during the post-monsoon season. We may complete the Mardi Himal Trek without a guide.
Any time of the year, we are free to embark on the walk alone. The best treks are always those that are led by a guide. We will be responsible for overseeing every aspect of your solo expedition.
Kande is the starting point of the hiking route, which continues to Dhampus, Pothana, Deurali, Forest Camp, Low Camp, Badal Danda, High Camp, and lastly Mardi Himal Base Camp. After then, it turns around and goes from Low Camp to Siding Village.
There is a brand-new trekking path that leads to Mardi Himal. Starting in Melbot in Pokhara Metropolitan City, the 500-meter route travels via Astam, Dhital, Dhampus, Pitam Deurali, Dhital Lwang, and Ghalel Kalimati. The project cost roughly Rs. 1.5 million (Rs 1 million was provided by Gandaki Province government and the remaining amount by a German-based organization.
